… Because love is not a strong enough feeling... or word.

This has more to do with family and friends, not just whomever you may fall in love with.

But it seems that I’m always telling everyone I love them… Whenever I go somewhere I always say, “Bye! I love you!” And when I go to bed: “Good-night! I love you.” I when I am sad: “I love you.” And so on.

And the more you say it… the less it seems to mean. If you always tell everyone you love them it doesn’t seem to mean as much. I love my parents, my brother and sister and my friends and pets and cousins and my aunts and uncles and 2nd cousins and basically the rest of my family that spans the entire globe (literally).

But when I say I love you. I always try to feel as much as I possibly can, because true love never ends. I don’t mean like, I fell in love with this guy and I’ll love him forever. I mean like, you can’t stop being your father’s son, and you can’t stop being you mom’s “little baby” and friendships that can be ended were never friendships to begin with, and your sister (no matter how annoying she is) will always be your sister and no matter how stupid your little brother acts he’ll still be your brother.

So next time you say “I love you” just try to think of all the feeling behind it, and if there is any at all… because a lot of people don’t realize how powerful those three little words are.
